San Juan Capistrano Tree Lighting 2009

Join the City of San Juan Capistrano as they celebrate the arrival of the holiday season Saturday December 5th at the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Festivities will begin at 4:15 at the Historic Town Center Park.  San Juan Hills and Capistrano Valley High School Orchestras will perform on stage.  The students of the Mc Coy Rigby Conservatory of the Arts will perform the much anticipated “My Only Wish” musical production.  The official tree lighting ceremony will take place at 5:45.  After the ceremony there will be live nativity performances on Los Rios Street.

Other holiday activities include ZOOMARS petting zoo, free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and train rides around the Los Rios Historic District.  The Mission San Juan Capistrano will have holiday musical performances and a Santa’s Workshop.  The Mission will be sponsoring a canned food drive to support Serra’s Pantry.
